The caterpillar of the Evening Brown Butterfly hangs in a J shape just before shedding it's skin and turning into a chrysalis. The larger whtieish blob appears to be the egg of a parasite but the caterpillar successfully transformed into a healthy butterfly. Toowong, QLD.
